Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Journeyman Electrician to support industrial construction, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair projects throughout the Central Valley. This position is ideal for an experienced electrician who can work independently, solve complex electrical issues, and contribute to the successful completion of industrial projects in a fast-paced environment.
Location: Central Valley, CA (Travel Required) office located in Ceres, CA
Schedule: Monday – Saturday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems and equipment.
- Install conduit systems, including EMT and rigid conduit, while performing complex bends and layouts.
- Measure, cut, thread, and bend conduit using hand and power tools.
- Install and terminate electrical panels, transformers, disconnects, motors, switches, and related equipment.
- Install, program, and troubleshoot Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain motor control systems and motor control centers (MCCs).
- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Perform industrial construction and electrical system upgrades in active production environments.
- Conduct troubleshooting and repairs on industrial equipment to minimize downtime.
- Test electrical systems for proper operation, safety, and code compliance.
- Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work completed and materials used.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and field personnel to ensure project success.
- Lead by example and provide guidance to less experienced electricians when needed.
- Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive industrial electrical construction experience.
- Strong industrial troubleshooting and repair background.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience with:
- VFD installation, programming, and troubleshooting
- Motor controls and MCCs
- Rigid conduit installation and advanced conduit bending
- Industrial power distribution systems
- Electrical maintenance and repair
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Strong understanding of electrical theory, NEC requirements, and industrial safety practices.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel throughout the Central Valley.
- Ability to work overtime and Saturdays as needed.
Qualifications
- California State Journeyman Electrician Certification
- Active Electrical Trainee (ET) Card
- Previous project lead or foreman experience
- Experience with estimating and project planning
- Pipeline or process-industry experience
- Industrial facility maintenance experience
