Responsibilities

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards at all times.
- Handle food safely by practicing proper food handling techniques, including storage, temperature control, and sanitation procedures.
- Collaborate with dietary department staff to accommodate special dietary needs and restrictions.
- Support catering events and special functions by preparing large quantities of food efficiently.
- Ensure all food preparation meets health regulations and safety protocols to prevent contamination or accidents.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in dietary department or dietary aide roles is highly desirable.
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations within the food industry or restaurant environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency in menu planning, meal preparation, and food service techniques.
- Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking methods.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Experience with fine dining or catering environments is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality.
