Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and self-driven Material Handler to help manage incoming materials, organize inventory, and maintain a clean and efficient workspace. This position plays an important role in keeping production areas stocked, organized, and running smoothly.
The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in their work, stays organized, and can work independently without needing constant direction.
Responsibilities
- Receive incoming materials and place them in designated locations
- Organize and maintain material racks
- Consolidate materials to improve space and efficiency
- Keep materials properly labeled, stored, and easy to access
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with moving, sorting, and staging materials for production
- Identify materials that need to be relocated, consolidated, or removed
- Follow company safety procedures at all times
- Communicate any material shortages, damaged items, or organization issues to management
Requirements
- Must be self-driven and able to work independently
- Must be organized and detail-oriented
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the workday
- Previous warehouse, material handling, or manufacturing experience preferred
- Forklift experience
- Must be dependable and show up on time
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the material areas, keep racks organized, and help create a cleaner, more efficient workspace. This is a hands-on position for someone who likes staying busy and keeping things in order.
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- Day shift
- Occasional overtime may be available
Work Environment
This position is in a manufacturing/warehouse environment. The employee will be working around production materials, racks, equipment, and other team members.
Pay: $18.00 - $28.22 per hour
