Position
The Siebold Company Inc. is seeking a Journeyman Electricians with experience in conveyor, automation/material/package handling installations. Project starts on June 1, 2026. This is a local position for Raleigh, NC and the project will run several months in length with the opportunity to move into a permanent role if full time US travel is acceptable.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Experience in reading and interpreting drawings and blueprints for material handling equipment.
- Installation of automation lines utilized in distribution/material handling and manufacturing environments.
- Install Rigid, IMC and EMT conduit on or servicing industrial equipment.
- Design and install bolted frame structures for conduit and device support (welding is plus).
- Route, label, Pull, and terminate control wiring and cabling to field control devices (photo eyes, limit switches, push button stations, etc.) for conveyor and sortation systems, palletizing equipment, press experience, etc.
- Install motor control centers install power feeds ranging from 120v to 480v AC. Test power distribution panels including grounding. Terminate and test motor circuits and control wiring.
- Installation of closed circuit camera system including terminating coaxial cabling.
- Experience in network cabling including cat 5, 5e, 6, DeviceNet, fiber Optic, etc.
- Ability to test and troubleshoot control and power distribution systems.
- Solid understanding of NEC, Arc Flash and OSHA requirements.
- PLC experience is a plus.
- IT expertise is a plus.
Qualifications and Skills
All applicants must meet the following job criteria:
- Valid Driver’s License and one additional form of ID.
- Minimum 5 years industrial experience in the electrical trade.
- Experience with executing a project from start to finish based on a given SOW and job specifications.
- Must have all applicable hand tools to perform within the electrical trade.
- TSC is a Drug-Free Workplace. All Applicants must pass a drug test prior to employment.
- 7 year Background check may be required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour
