American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a fast-paced outpatient family medicine clinic position in Hailey, ID, requiring at least 1 year of clinic experience and pediatric nursing experience.

Outpatient clinic setting serving a broad patient population from neonates to geriatrics, including family medicine, pediatrics, sports medicine, and OB subspecialties

Clinic also houses behavioral health, community health, and neurology departments within the same building
-
High-volume environment seeing approximately 120–150 patients per day across 25+ exam rooms

RN is paired with a provider but will rotate between multiple providers throughout the week
-
Same-day appointments and walk-in care are available
-
Epic EMR is used in this position
-
10-hour day shifts, 7:30am–5:00pm with a 30-minute lunch, 4 days per week
-
Optional opportunity to pick up Saturday shifts (9am–3pm) at a walk-in clinic located approximately 12 miles away — not required

No on-call or standby requirements

No holiday coverage required — clinic is closed on holidays

Floating to the neurology or behavioral health clinics within the building is possible but not required, and depends on the candidate

LPNs and Medical Assistants are part of the care team

Active Idaho RN license or compact RN license required — must be active at time of consideration, pending licenses not accepted

Current BLS certification required — must be active, pending certifications not accepted

Minimum 1 year of clinic/outpatient nursing experience required

Pediatric nursing experience required

Phlebotomy experience highly preferred

Epic EMR experience preferred

Driver's license required

2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, both must include dates of employment and eligibility for rehire

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Daily responsibilities include triage, rooming, vitals, medication administration, wound care, POC testing, EKGs, immunizations for all ages, in-basket management, and assisting with procedures such as vasectomies, circumcisions, LEEPs, contraception placements and removals, and skin excisions

Orientation is 1 week in length

Team leads serve as the direct report, with an on-site manager also available

No blocked scheduling or special scheduling requests will be accepted

Former permanent employees must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being considered for a travel assignment

Scrubs in any color are acceptable; hair must be pulled back
