Job Summary

Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items quickly and accurately according to established standards, ensuring quality and safety.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process customer orders efficiently.
- Take customer orders with enthusiasm, upsell menu items, and provide friendly service to enhance the dining experience.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities, while maintaining proper cash register procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food preparation zones in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Assist with food safety practices such as proper food handling, sanitation, and adhering to health guidelines.
- Support other team members by bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and ensuring the restaurant remains inviting for guests.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation, food service, or a quick service restaurant environment is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate order processing.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while managing time effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices is a plus; culinary or kitchen experience is beneficial.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
