Overview
We are seeking reliable and skilled Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting 1-3 students to school in the Morning and taking the same students home in the Afternoon while ensuring a high level of customer service. This role requires excellent driving skills, the ability to communicate english effectively, and a commitment to safety. Must be dependable. Must stay on route and follow rules for Safety. Professional Driving skills is preferred but not required. (Good for Retiree)
You will only get paid for the days and trips that you complete. You'll have the same students throughout the school year.
It's a 1099 Contractor position. Must be available to transport 1-3 students to school in the morning on time and take the same students home on time in the Afternoon throughout the school year. The students will most likely attend the same school.
Duties
- MUST have OWN 2015 or newer Vehicle
- Must have Maryland State vehicle inspection paper (Renewed every 6 months for safety)
- Must get your DOT card with Form
- MUST PASS a fingerprint background check and Drug Test
- Must have a clean Driving Record (will need your Certified complete Driving record)
- Operate your vehicle in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Follow company Rules. MUST FOLLOW COMPANY RULES
- Ensure the vehicle is well-maintained, performing routine checks and reporting any issues promptly. Must pass inspection every 6 months
- Communicate clearly with students and dispatch.
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking as needed, ensuring their comfort and safety. Only when needed
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any questions or concerns
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations via phone, text or email
Experience
- Previous experience as a professional driver is preferred but not required
- (At least 2 years of basic driving experience)
- A valid driver's license with a clean complete certified driving record is required.
- Ability to demonstrate safe driving practices
