Responsibilities
- Safely transport children to and from designated locations using company vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols.
- Supervise children during transportation, ensuring proper behavior management and child safety at all times.
- Lead engaging afterschool activities, including tutoring, arts and crafts, sports coaching, or theatrical projects that promote childhood development and creativity.
- Maintain a secure environment by following first aid protocols, CPR procedures, AED operation guidelines, and other safety standards.
- Foster positive relationships with children by providing guidance, encouragement, and appropriate behavioral support aligned with child development principles.
- Collaborate with parents, guardians, and program staff to ensure each child's needs are met with compassion and professionalism.
- Assist in planning age-appropriate curriculum activities that support early childhood education, special education needs, or youth programs.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in educational settings such as daycare, camp programs, or youth organizations.
- Demonstrated classroom management skills combined with knowledge of childhood development and behavior management strategies.
- Certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, or related safety training is highly preferred.
- Experience in teaching young children or providing tutoring services that enhance early childhood education outcomes.
- Background in childcare, babysitting, sports coaching, theater arts or similar roles that involve working directly with children or students.
- Familiarity with special education practices or working with children who have unique learning needs is a plus.
- Previous experience driving children’s transportation routes or managing youth programs will strengthen your application.
