Titan Roofing, Inc. is the premier commercial roofing, sheet metal, and restoration contractor of the Northeast. We are looking for an Accounts Payable Supervisor with a strong background in construction. The position will manage the AP department and processes for the company. This is a full-time opportunity based in our corporate office in Springfield, MA and reports to the Controller with dotted responsibility to the CFO.
Responsibilities:
- Mentor, train, and oversea AP department staff.
- Directs assigned tasks and assists as needed.
- Manage the process of setting up new vendors and vendor files, including W-9 documents.
- Maintain accounts payable vendor database & files.
- Paperless process improvements and timely vendor payments.
- Organize records of invoices & purchase orders electronically
- Monitor and process all positive pay functions.
- Match invoices to open purchase orders, code and distribute for approval.
- Monitor vendor discount opportunities.
- Research & reconcile vendor statements, and correct discrepancies.
- Prepare analysis of accounts payable as required.
- Prepares all monthly & Quarterly Sales & Use tax returns.
- Prepares all IFTA, HUT & HUF monthly and quarterly tax returns.
- Assist in month-end closings and year end file maintenance.
- Work closely with the Project Managers
- Ensures all EIN & SSI numbers have been collected & verified.
- Process 1099s.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned or directed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in AP and/or AR within the construction industry
- Associate degree or higher in business or accounting preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience with ERP software and process automation
- Excellent phone, verbal & written skills
- Ability to keep precise records

Pay: $58,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
