Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Company Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely while maintaining high standards of service. As an Owner Operator, you will utilize our vehicle to deliver freight across various routes, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Operate a tractor-trailer hauling Intermodal Containers.
- Rail Yard experience and pier experience are a big plus
- Plan and follow efficient routes to meet delivery schedules while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery status and any potential issues.
- Uphold a professional demeanor while representing the company during interactions with clients and the public.
Skills
- Proven experience as a truck driver with a strong understanding of truck driving regulations with at least 2 years experience.
- Some weekend work needed.
- A valid CDL Class A with a good driving record is essential.
- HazMat Endorsement Needed
- Must have a TWIC card or be able to get one before you start
- Must be able to operate a Manual Transmission - NO "Automatic Transmission Only" restrictions
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.

Pay: $1,500.00 - $2,300.00 per week
