Customer Service Coordinator – Manufacturing
We're a quality-driven manufacturer looking for a sharp, organized communicator to join our customer service team. You'll manage the full order cycle for assigned customer accounts while serving as a key connector between customers and our internal teams. This isn't a call center role — you'll build real relationships and work across sales, operations, and compliance in a fast-moving environment.
What you'll be doing:
- Handle customer communication and accurate, timely entry of quotes, orders, and related information
- Process and track quotes and orders ensuring compliance with pricing strategy, target margins, and program naming criteria
- Follow up with customers on order acknowledgements, order status, and shipping information
- Maintain electronic customer files including lab projects, quotes, order acknowledgements, price lists, and standard notes
- Create new item numbers and product descriptions following established protocols
- Coordinate internally on customer sample requests, product information requests, and order follow-through
- Build and implement project management tools to support cross-functional collaboration on major programs
- Support the Account Executive with material samples, cross reference lists, quotations, and past due invoice collection
- Back up other Sales Team members during high-activity periods or when coverage is needed
- Assist the Export Compliance Officer with international trade compliance activities including audits and procedure development
- Participate in special projects such as ERP system evaluations and upgrades
What you bring:
- 3–5 years of customer service experience, ideally in manufacturing or a related field
- Strong organizational skills and serious attention to detail
- Comfort with ERP systems and MS Office
- Clear, professional communication — written and verbal
- Bonus: French or Spanish language skills
- Must be eligible for any required US export authorizations (ITAR/EAR)
A business degree is a plus, but not required — experience matters more.
