Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various driving roles, including shuttle driving, delivery driving, and commercial driving. This position requires excellent customer service skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to safety. The Driver will be responsible for transporting passengers or goods efficiently while ensuring a high standard of service.
Duties
- Operate vehicles safely and responsibly, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Provide shuttle services for passengers to designated locations in a timely manner.
- Deliver packages and goods to specified addresses, ensuring accurate and on-time delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the vehicle, performing regular maintenance checks as needed.
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding schedules and any changes.
- Handle heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
- Document any incidents or issues that arise during transport for reporting purposes.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a driver in shuttle services, delivery driving, bus driving, or limousine services is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with passengers and clients.
- Excellent communication skills to relay information clearly and effectively.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
- Familiarity with paratransit services is a plus.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driver's license (CDL) may be required for specific roles.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices is beneficial to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $829.56 - $999.04 per week
