Overview

Duties
- Safely load and unload goods using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and cranes
- Utilize RF scanners to accurately track inventory movements and update warehouse management systems
- Perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and material transfer to designated areas
- Assist with order picking and packing to prepare shipments for delivery or storage
- Ensure all shipping and receiving procedures comply with safety protocols and OSHA standards
- Conduct regular inspections of heavy equipment operation to maintain safety and efficiency
- Maintain accurate inventory records through proper documentation and organization of materials
Skills
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or related roles
- Skilled in operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, cranes, and material handling equipment
- Familiarity with warehouse operations including inventory management, order picking, and materials handling
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting safely and effectively
- Experience using RF scanners for inventory tracking and basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Knowledge of safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and proper use of pallet jacks and other material handling tools
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
