Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service by assisting customers with their shipping needs.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems.
- Maintain knowledge of UPS services and products to effectively upsell additional services.
- Ensure the retail area is well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing.
- Assist in training new staff members on retail operations and customer service standards.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
- Typing experience (40 WPM) preferred
- UPS Store experience preferred
- Proven experience in retail sales or customer service roles.
- Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of retail math for inventory management.
- Effective communication skills to engage with customers and team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with POS systems is preferred.
