Sunshine Pet Grooming is a locally owned, fast-growing salon in Laveen, AZ. We are professional, agile, and performance-driven. Our mission is simple: Give every dog the best possible spa day and spa experience.
We’re looking for a skilled, dependable Pet Bather who can confidently handle dogs and support front desk operations. This is not an entry-level “try it out” position — we’re seeking someone who takes pride in their work and wants to be part of a high-standard, team-oriented environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Safely wash and handle dogs (and occasionally cats) of all sizes and temperaments
- Perform nail trims, ear cleaning, brushing, drying, and prep work
- Assist with light trimming and finishing work when needed
- Answer phones and professionally schedule appointments
- Check clients in and out accurately using our POS system
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary salon
- Deliver exceptional customer service to every pet parent
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 1 year of bathing/grooming experience (required)
- Confident, calm animal handling skills
- Front desk or customer service experience
- Strong communication and multitasking abilities
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and punctual
- Eagerness to continue learning about grooming and animal care
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong plus
Schedule Requirements:
- Must be available any day of the week
- Minimum 6-hour shifts
- Saturdays & Sundays are typically 8+ hour days
