Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Bar Manager/Bartender to join our team at our Winston-Salem location. As a Bar Manager/Bartender, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. You will prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, while ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Ideal applicants would have multiple years of experience in ordering, scheduling, inventory processes, and money handling procedures. Ideal applicant MUST have experience in managing others. Dive Bar has high standards in culture and we expect the new Bar Manager to adhere to our culture in all aspects. We are looking for a LEADER, not a BOSS!

Pay: $8/hr + tips - $20 to $40 per hour + Weekly Management Pay
Duties:
-Management duties would include ordering and picking up ABC orders and any other items needed, such as food and paper products. In addition, Bar Manager will make schedule, initially under the supervision of the District Manager. No HR responsibilities (hiring, HR paperwork, etc) are performed by Bar Manager. Bar Manager will be in charge of making sure each bar is organized and clean.
- Greet customers and take their orders promptly and accurately
- Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks
- Provide recommendations on drink selections based on customer preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Monitor alcohol consumption and prevent over-intoxication
- Collect payments from customers and process transactions accurately
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Bar Manager/ Bartender in a fast-paced environment is a must
- Strong knowledge of mixology techniques and drink recipes
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with diverse clientele
- Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is desirable
-Management experience definitely a must!
