Fleet Maintenance Technician | Diesel & Trailer Maintenance

Since 2008, Palmetto Yacht Management has specialized in transporting some of the world's finest boats throughout the Eastern United States. As our company continues to grow, we're looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined technician to help maintain our fleet of heavy-duty trucks and specialized boat trailers.

What You'll Be Doing
✅ Perform preventative maintenance on diesel trucks and specialized trailers
✅ Inspect, diagnose, and repair brakes, suspension, lighting, hydraulics, wheel bearings, hubs, and electrical systems
✅ Complete DOT inspections and safety repairs
✅ Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
✅ Document repairs and inspections using an iPad and Fleetio maintenance software
✅ Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop
We're Looking For Someone Who Has
✔️ At least 2 years of mechanical or maintenance experience
✔️ Experience with automotive, diesel, trailer, heavy equipment, marine, RV, or fleet maintenance
✔️ Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
✔️ Comfortable using an iPad or mobile device for work orders and inspections
✔️ A valid driver's license and a dependable work ethic
❗This is NOT an engine rebuild position. Our work focuses on preventative maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and general mechanical repairs to keep our fleet safely on the road.
