Springfield, MA metal finishing company has 2nd shift positions available for EXPERIENCED strip copper / copper platers. Qualified candidates must have excellent punctuality and attendance and must pass a FAA pre-employment drug test, which includes marijuana.
Minimum of one year of experience is required.
Full time position - generally 8-10 hour shifts Monday - Friday starting at 4:30pm and alternating 1/2 day Saturdays based on production needs. Extended hours may be required. Pay rate is based on experience.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of strip copper / copper plating experience required
- Ability to work with and interpret process record cards, purchase orders, etc.
- Ability to work well with others and independently
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills
- Must have the ability to read, write and understand English
- Must have good math skills and the ability to calculate figures
- Must have excellent attendance and punctuality
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time
Responsibilities/Duties
- Completion of daily checklist
- Maintain a clean, organized work area
- Performs all tasks in a manner consistent with company regulations
- Performs all other duties and functions as assigned.
Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
