Role Description
You will be part of ASPOWER Inc’s US sales organization as a Field Applications Engineer based in the Greater Bay Area (San Jose and surrounding region). This will be a hybrid role, mostly remote. You will work collaboratively with our sales team to engage customers, understanding and addressing their power supply needs, and providing technical guidance to support the sale of power supply solutions across a broad range of end markets, including healthcare, automotive, and industrial applications. This role includes regional US travel and international travel to China, Mexico, and Southeast Asia 1-2x per year to support customers, partners, and regional teams.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (we are not accepting other degrees at this time unless significant experience in power electronics is demonstrated)
- Understanding of schematics, PCB layouts, and electronic components
- Knowledge of analog, mixed-signal, or digital circuitry, with exposure to power electronics (e.g., AC/DC and DC/DC power supplies, power management, converters, regulators)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with AC/DC or DC/DC power supplies
- Familiarity with power supply selection, sizing, and thermal considerations
- Exposure to regulatory and safety standards (e.g., UL, IEC, CE), especially for medical or industrial applications
- Experience supporting customer design-ins or technical sales activities
- Understanding of efficiency, EMI/EMC, and reliability considerations in power supply design

Pay Range
$94,000 - $146,000
Any compensation offer will be tailored to reflect location, background, experience, and skills, and may differ from the posted range. The balance between base pay and any applicable incentive will be confirmed when an offer is extended.
Pay: $93,205.02 - $146,000.00 per year
