Zircoa is looking for a Maintenance Manager to join the team. The Maintenance Manager is responsible for all aspects of maintenance operations at the facility in support of Zircoa's strategic business initiatives. This position provides senior-level leadership of the maintenance department, directing the maintenance supervisor and storeroom specialist. Key responsibilities include implementing predictive and preventive maintenance programs, implementing advanced maintenance metrics, addressing unplanned downtime, planning maintenance outages, maintaining and managing spare parts inventory, and driving continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management
- Direct, coach, and develop the maintenance supervisor and storeroom specialist
- Set maintenance priorities and objectives aligned with business strategy
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators
- Manage maintenance department budget
Correcting Unplanned Downtime
- Lead rapid response with production and engineering teams to restore process flow
- Conduct root cause analysis using structured methodologies (5 Why, A-3, Fishbone Analysis)
- Implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
Planning and Executing Maintenance Outages
- Develop comprehensive maintenance outage plans with timelines and resource allocation
- Coordinate with production, engineering, and external contractors
- Manage contractor performance and safety compliance during outages
- Conduct post-outage reviews to capture lessons learned
Spare Parts and Inventory Management
- Partner with storeroom specialist to develop critical spare parts strategy
- Optimize inventory levels balancing cost, availability, and equipment uptime
- Evaluate and implement predictive spare parts acquisition based on equipment health monitoring
Predictive and Preventive Maintenance
- Design and optimize predictive maintenance (PdM) programs utilizing vibration analysis, thermography, and oil analysis
- Develop and continuously improve preventive maintenance (PM) schedules based on equipment performance data
- Monitor and analyze maintenance metrics to identify optimization opportunities
- Incorporate learnings from failures into improved PMs and spare parts strategies
Continuous Improvement
- Identify and champion improvement opportunities from failure analysis and root cause
- Evaluate and implement new maintenance methodologies, technologies, and tools
- Support capital improvement projects addressing equipment reliability issues
- Lead cross-functional improvement initiatives with production and engineering teams
Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
- Able to read complex prints and schematics
- Proficiency with CMMS and ERP systems
- Experience with predictive maintenance technologies
- Strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical and electrical failures, PLCs, and complex equipment systems
- Proficient with MS Office Suite and strong computer literacy

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of maintenance supervisory or management experience in manufacturing
- 3+ years implementing and managing maintenance programs
Pay: $90,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
