Sales & Customer Service Associate
David Jones Fashions is seeking motivated, dependable, and customer-focused full-time and part-time team members with a proven background in sales and customer service.
We are looking for qualified candidates with a minimum of 1 year of sales and customer service experience who enjoy fashion, building relationships with customers, and delivering an exceptional shopping experience.

Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service and provide knowledgeable sales assistance
- Build relationships with customers and confidently guide them through purchasing decisions
- Assist the Store Manager with daily store operations
- Manage customer appointments and assist with special events as needed
- Greet and assist customers in the store
- Answer and direct inbound telephone calls professionally
- Assist with inventory management and maintaining an organized sales floor
- Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced retail environment
- Maintain a professional appearance and represent the David Jones Fashions brand
- Handle customer information with professionalism and confidentiality
Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum 1 year of sales and customer service experience
- Proven ability to provide outstanding customer service
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to confidently engage customers and close sales
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively under pressure
- Self-motivated, dependable, punctual, and professional
- Strong basic mathematical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred:
- Retail or fashion industry experience
- Experience with appointments, special events, or clienteling
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an experienced sales and customer service professional who is confident, personable, organized, dependable, and motivated by providing an exceptional customer experience. Fashion or retail experience is a plus, but a strong sales background and proven customer service skills are essential.
