Duties
- Maintain cleanliness by washing dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and setting up workstations for bar and kitchen staff
- Support catering and banquet events by preparing serving stations and ensuring all necessary items are ready for service
- Help with bussing tables, clearing dishes, and resetting areas to uphold cleanliness standards in dining spaces
- Handle food handling responsibilities safely according to health regulations and company policies
- Support kitchen staff with basic cooking tasks when needed to ensure timely service during busy hours
- Maintain organization of supplies, dishware, and cleaning tools to promote efficiency and safety
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and cleaning procedures
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting or bending comfortably
- Experience with bussing tables, food preparation, or catering is a plus
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude in fast-paced settings
- Basic understanding of kitchen operations or culinary experience is advantageous but not mandatory
