The Commercial Automotive Sales Representative is an energetic, highly motivated,outgoing and hardworking individual interested in selling vehicles represented by Transwest to a base of established commercial customers in a protected sales territory.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Attain the sales and gross profit objectives set by the Sales Manager.
-
Grow the fleet and commercial portfolio.
-
Order and deliver vehicles.
-
Regularly call on established accounts.
-
Establish and qualify new accounts.
-
Aggressively sell all available products.
-
Coordinating up fits and other modifications to clients’ specifications.
-
Provide prompt, courteous and accurate service to customers.
-
Maintain familiarity with all products and programs, and the dealership’s credit policies.
-
Keep in contact with your major accounts.
-
Maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
-
Complete tasks within expenses budgeted for travel and entertainment.
-
Attend trade shows and other events as needed.
-
Manage a customer database.
-
Provide additional help in areas as needed.
-
Other duties as assigned by the manager.
Requirements:
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL ABILITIES:

Perform demonstrations or ride alongs with potential buyers

Sit or stand for prolonged periods of time

Climbing in and out of vehicles

Occasional stooping and bending
-
Ability to lift/push/pull up to 45 lbs.

Normal range of hearing and vision.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Valid Driver's License and MVR in good standing.

Self-motivated and willingness to learn.
-
Strong sales aptitude.
-
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
-
Excellent follow-through skills.
-
Bilingual is a plus.
-
Professional, responsible and customer oriented at all times.

Knowledge of Commercial Vehicles is a plus.
-
Automotive industry experience preferred.

Ability to successfully complete a General Abilities Assessment and pass post-offer background check, physical, and drug-screening.
