Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Korean Bilingual Logistics Operation Staff/Sr. Staff to join our dynamic supply chain team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing end-to-end logistics processes, ensuring seamless coordination between warehouse operations, transportation, procurement, and distribution. Your bilingual proficiency in Korean and English will enable effective communication with international vendors, suppliers, and internal teams. Duties
- Coordinate and oversee warehouse distribution activities, including inventory management, materials handling, and order fulfillment to ensure timely delivery.
- Manage transportation planning and execution using transportation management systems (TMS) and ERP platforms like SAP or AS400 to optimize freight routes and costs.
- Conduct data collection and analysis using SQL, Tableau, and supply chain analytics tools to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
- Collaborate with procurement teams on sourcing strategies, vendor management, contract negotiations, and category management to secure competitive pricing.
- Monitor shipping & receiving operations, including freight forwarding (NVOCC), 3PL providers, and customs compliance to ensure smooth international logistics flows.
- Perform root cause analysis on supply chain disruptions or delays and develop corrective action plans for continuous improvement.
- Support demand planning, inventory control, procurement activities, and demand forecasting to align supply with production schedules (MRP) and sales forecasts.
Requirements
- Fluent in Korean and English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven experience in supply chain management, warehouse operations, or logistics roles; warehouse experience is highly preferred.
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in SQL, Tableau, ERP systems (such as SAP or AS400), and transportation management systems.
- Knowledge of transportation planning, freight forwarding (NVOCC), shipping & receiving procedures, and inventory management systems.
- Ability to perform process improvement initiatives using tools like root cause analysis; familiarity with category management and procurement processes is a plus.
- Mechanical knowledge or forklift certification is advantageous for handling materials handling equipment safely.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; experience with demand planning and supply chain analytics is desirable.
