Responsibilities
- Perform routine repairs and maintenance tasks across various areas, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting.
- Troubleshoot issues promptly and determine the best course of action to resolve them effectively.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential safety hazards or maintenance needs before they escalate.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and supplies to ensure they are in good working order for ongoing projects.
- Collaborate with team members or contractors on larger projects to ensure timely completion.
- Keep detailed records of work performed, parts used, and repairs completed for future reference.
- Respond quickly to urgent repair requests to minimize downtime and disruption.
Skills
- Proven experience as a handyman or in general maintenance roles with a broad skill set across multiple trades.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, painting, and basic appliance repairs.
- Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, or schematics when necessary.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and safety compliance.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and report on work progress.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual tasks in various environments.
