Entry Level — Your Foot in the Door to IT
We're looking for a dependable, on-site IT Support Technician to be our hands-and-eyes at a client's Hamilton, Ohio office. Our experienced remote team handles the advanced technical work — you'll set up equipment, help end users, and keep things running on the ground.
If you're currently studying IT at a local college, recently finished a degree or certificate program, or you're simply the "tech person" everyone comes to — this is a real-world entry point into IT and managed services, with people who will actually teach you the trade.
What You'll Do
- Set up and deploy computers, monitors, and peripherals
- Basic troubleshooting on desktops, laptops, and office equipment
- Install docking stations, printers, and UC/AV hardware
- Software installs and updates, directed by our remote team
- Help employees with day-to-day tech questions
- Serve as our on-site point of contact
- Keep simple equipment records and documentation
- Escalate anything advanced to the remote team
What We're Looking For
- Comfortable setting up a computer and standard equipment
- Basic understanding of UC/AV or office hardware
- Reliable, punctual, and independent on-site
- Strong communication and a helpful, professional attitude
- Able to follow written and verbal remote instructions
- Curiosity about AI and modern IT tooling — interest, not experience; our senior engineers will show you how we use it
- Able to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- Current enrollment in, or completion of, an IT degree or certificate program
- Help-desk, retail tech, or computer-repair experience
- Windows setup and basic networking familiarity
- CompTIA A+ or similar certification
What We Offer
- $50,000/year — stable, full-time weekday hours (Mon–Fri, 8 AM–4 PM)
- Hands-on mentorship from senior remote engineers — learn how a working managed services team actually operates
- Exposure to modern tooling, including how our team uses AI day to day
- A clear growth path: on-site support today, deeper networking and managed-services skills as you prove out
- A strong first job for students and recent grads of local IT programs
Employment is contingent on successful completion of a background check.
