Schedule: [ Monday - Friday 4:00am-12:00pm]
Job Overview:
We are looking for a reliable, safety-focused Non-CDL Box Truck Delivery Driver to join our team. You will be responsible for safely operating a commercial box truck (under 26,000 lbs) to transport and deliver goods to local businesses and residential areas. This is a physical role that requires loading, unloading, and ensuring all deliveries are made accurately and on time.Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and maneuver a non-CDL box truck (up to 26ft) in various traffic and weather conditions.
- Perform physical, hands-on "touch freight" work, which involves loading, unloading, and organizing cargo.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Verify delivery loads and invoices against shipping manifests to ensure accuracy.
- Use handheld delivery devices/apps for routing, scanning, and delivery confirmation.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients upon delivery.
- Adhere strictly to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety policies.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license (No CDL required)
- Dot medical card.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a current DOT medical card.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50+ lbs regularly.
- Previous box truck or delivery driving experience is preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong communication skills and a highly dependable work ethic.
