Part-Time / On-Call Housekeeper

Beaufort Waterway RV Park is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented on-call housekeeper to clean and prepare our vacation rental units between guests.
Pay
This is a piece-rate position, meaning you are paid per completed unit rather than by the hour:
- Cabins: $50 each
- Studio Apartment: $40 each
- House: $60 each
Our units generally take approximately 1.5–2 hours for a cabin, 1.5 hours for the studio, and 2–3 hours for the house. The piece-rate structure means the more efficiently you can complete a quality cleaning, the more you can earn for your time.
The Work
Turnovers include cleaning the entire unit, bathrooms and kitchens, vacuuming/mopping, making beds, restocking supplies, checking inventory, washing linens and towels at our laundry facility, and making sure the rental is clean, organized, and ready for the next guest.
We use a detailed cleaning checklist and will train you on our standards and procedures. Completed cleanings are inspected, and if something needs attention, we'll point it out so it can be corrected.
Scheduling
This is on-call work based on occupancy and reservations, so there are no guaranteed weekly hours. Summer is our busiest season, while the offseason is considerably slower.
We generally know about upcoming cleanings and will provide a tentative schedule when possible. We will give at least one day's notice for confirmed cleanings whenever possible, although occasional last-minute bookings can create shorter-notice turnovers.
We're Looking For
Someone who is reliable, thorough, able to work independently, and takes pride in doing things right. Previous housekeeping experience is helpful but not required — we can train the right person.
This could be a great fit for someone looking for flexible, occasional work rather than a traditional full-time schedule.
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
