We are looking for a Local Safety Manager to join our team.
Job Location: Poplarville, MS
Job Schedule: 40-50 ours a week
Compensation: $45 an hour
Duration: 6 month project
Job Description:
Responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring company environment programs and policies to ensure compliance with federal, state and local health and safety regulations. Work to reduce company risk and liability in all aspects of EHS. Assists in a variety of duties to include, sampling, observations, training and inspections. Assists with root cause analysis when EHS incidents occur and recommends corrective action where environmental, health and safety hazards exist. Responsible for monitoring and driving sustainability initiatives.
Requirements:
- Must have a hard copy of an OSHA 500
- Must have 5 years experience as a Safety Professional
- Candidates must live with in 50 miles of Poplarville, MS (39470)
- Candidate must be will to take MSHA part 48. We will pay for certifications.
