REQUIRED: Valid NYS teaching certificate in Students with Disabilities – Birth-2
QUALIFICATIONS
DESIRED:
- Experience with students ages 3 – 4; varied present levels of Preschoolers with a Disability.

Desire and knowledge to embed structured learning experiences around the five broad developmental domains, within an integrated UPK setting (i.e., SCIS classroom).

Experience, knowledge and background related to N.Y.S. standards and its relationship to student growth and success.

Evidence of strong communication and interpersonal skills with parents, staff, students, related service providers, support staff and administration.

Knowledge and evidence of Individualized Education Programming and subsequent document development.

Evidence of strong classroom management with an emphasis on student engagement within the classroom; behavior intervention supports and data collection when needed.

Commitment to ongoing team development, curriculum and professional development, and instructional technology.
