Lemondrop is opening in Agoura Hills, and we’re building an exceptional founding instructor team.
We’re looking for yoga teachers who are warm, confident, technically strong, and genuinely good at creating connection in a room.
Lemondrop is not a traditional yoga studio. We’re creating a polished, community-driven space that combines yoga, aerial, café culture, events, and hospitality under one roof. Our classes should feel elevated and intentional—but never intimidating, overly serious, or impersonal.
Who we’re looking for
We want instructors who can teach a great class and build a loyal following.
You may be a great fit if you:
- Create an immediate sense of welcome and belonging
- Teach with confidence, clarity, and personality
- Give thoughtful, safe, easy-to-follow cues
- Can read a room and adjust your teaching when needed
- Remember names and genuinely connect with students
- Are comfortable teaching mixed levels while still challenging experienced students
- Bring your own voice rather than delivering a memorized script
- Are dependable, professional, and prepared
- Care about music, pacing, atmosphere, and the overall class experience
- Want to help build a new yoga community from the beginning
We value instructors who are engaging.
Our yoga experience
Lemondrop will offer a range of classes, including:
- Warm Vinyasa
- Power / Strength-Based Flow
- Foundations and Beginner-Friendly Yoga
- Slow Flow
- Yin
- Mobility and Recovery
- Specialty workshops and events
Our studio is designed for a large-format class experience, so instructors should be comfortable commanding a room while still making individual students feel seen.
We are especially interested in instructors who can teach more than one format.
What matters most to us
A certification gets you in the door. The way you make people feel is what will make you successful here.
We are looking for teachers with:
- Strong sequencing and anatomical awareness
- Excellent verbal cueing
- Appropriate modifications and progressions
- A welcoming teaching style
- Good judgment and professionalism
- Emotional maturity
- Reliability
- Genuine enthusiasm for students and community
We want classes that are challenging when they should be, restorative when they should be, and always intentional.
No cookie-cutter teaching.
No ego-driven performance.
No cliques.
Qualifications

- Current CPR/AED certification preferred
- Previous teaching experience strongly preferred
- 500-hour certification or additional specialty training is a plus
- Experience teaching warm or aerial formats is a plus

Exceptional newer teachers are still encouraged to apply.
Compensation
Competitive class-based compensation with opportunities to earn additional pay as class attendance grows.
Additional opportunities may include:
- Workshops
- Special events

- Community programming
- Expanded leadership opportunities as Lemondrop grows
We strongly prefer teachers who can commit to a consistent weekly class time and become a familiar part of the Lemondrop community.
Substitute opportunities will also be available.

Selected applicants will be invited to teach a short audition.
We’re evaluating more than sequencing. We want to see how you communicate, connect, cue, manage the room, and create an experience.
