Heart Beats Music School is seeking passionate, dedicated music teachers who are committed to excellence in both musicianship and education.

Requirements
- Advanced proficiency on your primary instrument, with a strong foundation in music theory and music literacy.
- A degree in music (completed or in progress), or equivalent advanced musical training.
- Previous teaching experience is welcome but not required. We are happy to mentor developing teachers with excellent musicianship.
- Professional, organized, dependable, and punctual.
- Fluent written and spoken English communication skills (additional languages are a plus).
- Ability to teach in person at our East Sacramento studio.
Additional Requirements for Piano Applicants
Heart Beats is committed to comprehensive piano education. Candidates should demonstrate advanced technical proficiency, including scales, arpeggios, chord progressions, sight-reading, and healthy piano technique. Applicants should have a solid understanding of music theory and be comfortable teaching note reading, rhythm, ear training, and theory through at least the intermediate level, with the musicianship to continue supporting advancing students. We are seeking teachers who provide a well-rounded music education, not solely repertoire instruction.
