About the Role
ISL International School of Languages is seeking an experienced Spanish instructor for adult group classes in Northwest Washington, DC, running September 2026 through May 2027 (24 teaching weeks).
You would teach two back-to-back classes each Thursday:
- Spanish Beginner: 4:00–5:00 PM
- Spanish Intermediate: 5:00–6:00 PM
Classes are small groups of 4 to 6 adult learners, conversation-focused and practical, with grammar and vocabulary taught in context.
Responsibilities
- Teach engaging, conversation-driven lessons for adult learners
- Prepare lesson plans matched to each group's level
- Track attendance and communicate scheduling needs to ISL

Qualifications
- Native or near-native fluency in Spanish
- Experience teaching adults (group instruction preferred)
- Reliable transportation to Northwest Washington, DC
- Professional, dependable, and warm with students
