About The Role
Design Homes is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Architect to join our growing team. In this role, you will lead and contribute to residential design projects from concept through construction, working closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams to deliver exceptional homes. Responsibilities
- Develop and manage architectural designs for residential projects from schematic design through construction documents
- Develop detailed architectural drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, Rhino 3D (Rhinoceros 3D), Grasshopper 3D, SketchUp, and other drafting tools.
- Prepare comprehensive construction documents, including plans, sections, elevations, and specifications that meet local building codes and zoning requirements.
- Collaborate with clients to understand vision, needs, and budget requirements
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and internal team members throughout all project phases
- Conduct site visits and ensure designs are being executed to specifications
- Stay current with local building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards
- Contribute to design reviews and offer creative solutions to complex challenges
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
- Licensed Architect (RA) strongly preferred — candidates actively pursuing licensure also considered
- 3+ years of professional experience in residential or mixed-use design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and/or other design software
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of local building codes and permitting processes is a plus
- Strong knowledge of construction processes and interior design integration within residential spaces.
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
