Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Delivery Driver and Warehouse Worker, where you'll be the vital link between our company and our valued customers. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely delivering products to clients while also supporting warehouse operations through loading, unloading, and inventory management. Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm
Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles to deliver goods to various locations, adhering to route schedules and traffic laws.
- Load and unload shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques, ensuring products are secured properly during transit.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries, addressing their questions or concerns with a positive attitude.
- Assist in warehouse tasks such as inventory counting, organizing stock, and preparing shipments for delivery or storage.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and inventory records to ensure smooth operations.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are met; report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Support team members with heavy lifting and moving tasks as needed to facilitate efficient warehouse flow.
Qualifications
- Foklift Expereince (Sit down)
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with route driving experience in box trucks or similar vehicles.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual transmission vehicles is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks safely; physically fit to handle demanding warehouse duties.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and equipment operation such as forklifts and load securing methods.
