Duties
- Safely load and unload household moving supplies using forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment
- Stack and organize items on pallets or shelves with precision to maximize space and ensure easy access
- Operate RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory accurately during order picking and shipping processes
- Assist with order picking tasks using <PERSON> pickers and ensure correct items are prepared for delivery or storage
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment in compliance with OSHA standards
- Support shipping & receiving operations by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring proper documentation
- Use heavy equipment such as cranes and forklifts for materials handling tasks requiring mechanical knowledge and safety awareness
Requirements
- Proven warehouse distribution experience with a focus on household moving or construction environments
- Hands-on experience operating heavy equipment including forklifts, clamp trucks, cranes, pallet jacks, and load/unload machinery
- Strong understanding of materials handling procedures and warehouse safety protocols (OSHA compliance)
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation and maintenance is highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the shift
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and order picking technology such as <PERSON> pickers
- Prior experience in shipping & receiving, load & unload activities, or warehouse supervision is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management and order accuracy
