Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic 3 - 11 pm Saturday / Sunday Front Desk Agent for the Home2 Suites located in Calera. We can guarantee 2 shifts per week, but a 3rd day may be possible on some weeks. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience in hotel management or guest services is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Greet and check-in guests with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Manage reservations and room assignments using multi-line phone systems and hotel management software.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance the guest experience.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Conduct night audits as required, ensuring accuracy in billing and financial transactions.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including filing reports and managing correspondence.
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests.
- Familiarity with night audit processes is beneficial.
- Proficient phone etiquette skills for handling multi-line phone systems effectively.
