Title: Construction Contract Administrator
Purpose of Role: Core Development Group is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Construction Contract Administrator to support the successful execution of commercial and industrial solar and renewable energy projects. This role is responsible for administering construction contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, change orders, payment applications, and project documentation from award through closeout. Working closely with project management, engineering, procurement, finance, legal, and field construction teams, the Construction Contract Administrator helps ensure that contractual requirements are clearly tracked, communicated, and executed in support of safe, timely, and cost-effective EPC project delivery.

Essential Job Functions:
- Administer EPC construction contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, change orders, notices, lien waivers, and related documentation for commercial and industrial solar and renewable energy projects.
- Track key contract requirements, project milestones, deliverables, notice deadlines, payment terms, retainage, warranties, closeout items, and other obligations across multiple active projects.
- Partner with project managers and construction teams to support disciplined contract execution, timely issue escalation, schedule awareness, cost control, and documentation of project decisions.
- Review subcontractor and vendor change order requests for completeness, contractual support, pricing backup, scope alignment, and potential schedule or budget impact.
- Maintain contract logs, change order logs, commitment tracking, action item lists, project correspondence, and supporting records to provide visibility into contract status and project risk.
- Coordinate with procurement, engineering, finance, legal, and construction stakeholders to ensure contract terms, scopes of work, insurance requirements, bonds, and compliance obligations are understood and followed.
- Review payment applications, invoices, supporting documentation, lien waivers, certificates of insurance, and other required backup before routing for internal approval.
- Support owner, customer, lender, and internal reporting requirements, including construction draw packages, contract summaries, compliance documentation, closeout packages, and project records.
- Assist with preparation of formal correspondence, notices, meeting follow-ups, claims support, and documentation needed to protect Core Development Group’s contractual position.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of contract administration processes, templates, filing practices, project controls, and standard operating procedures to support scalable EPC execution.
Requirements | Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, business administration, engineering, legal studies, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in contract administration, project controls, construction administration, procurement, or a related role within solar, renewable energy, EPC, infrastructure, electrical construction, or commercial construction.
- Strong working knowledge of construction contracts, subcontract agreements, scopes of work, change order processes, payment applications, lien waivers, insurance certificates, bonds, warranties, and project closeout requirements.
- Experience supporting commercial and industrial solar, distributed generation, battery energy storage, electrical infrastructure, civil/site work, or EPC construction projects is strongly preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret contract language, scopes of work, drawings, specifications, schedules, project correspondence, and technical documentation.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple contracts, deadlines, documents, and competing priorities across concurrent projects.
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft concise correspondence, notices, summaries, and status updates for internal and external stakeholders.
- Practical, solutions-oriented judgment with the ability to identify contractual risk, cost exposure, documentation gaps, and schedule or compliance concerns before they become larger issues.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe, SharePoint, and project or document management tools; experience with Procore, Smartsheet, or similar platforms is a plus.
- Collaborative, accountable, and hands-on work style with the ability to support fast-moving project teams while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism.
Pay: Up to $95,000.00 per year
