RN Correctional Opportunity – Romulus, NY 14541 - $2,400 Gross Weekly Pay
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a correctional healthcare assignment in Romulus, NY.
Assignment Details:
- Location: Romulus, NY 14541
- Contract Length: 26–52 weeks
- Shift: Day Shift – 3x12 Hours (5:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours/week
- Accepts First-Time Travelers
- Accepts Local Travelers at the Same Rate
- Returning Staff: Must be separated from any NY State facility for at least 2 years
Pay Package:
- Gross Weekly Pay: $2,400/week
- Blended Hourly Rate: $66.67/hour
- (Taxable Base Pay: $20.00/hour + Tax-Free Stipend: $46.67/hour )
Weekly Pay Breakdown:
- Taxable Pay: $720/week
- Tax-Free Stipend: $1,680/week
Position Overview:
The RN will provide direct nursing care in a correctional healthcare setting, including:
- Conducting health assessments and developing nursing care plans
- Providing treatments, patient education, and counseling
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Supporting quality patient care and wellness initiatives
Requirements:
- Active New York State RN license and registration required
- Must complete and clear the state-run Criminal History Form before starting (processing may take up to 4 weeks)
