Supervisor: Transitional Living Specialist Supervisor
Qualifications:
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in a human services related field, and/or experience working with youth in a residential or transitional living program.
Minimum: High School Degree, at least 21 years of age, able to obtain a Class E driver's license
Position Summary: Provide supportive services to residents in transitional living setting.
Special Working Conditions: Exposure to residents and at times, treatment conditions. Long and irregular working hours. Requires ability to manage crisis situations, emergency situations, and provide trauma informed interventions.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Staff is responsible for the safety and well-being of residents.

Staff will not have excessive tardiness and will maintain an attendance rate above 95%.

Staff will provide required documentation that is both timely and substantive, including hourly checks, incident reporting, shift changeover documents, med pass, and email updates, as required.

Staff will be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean environment in the group homes.

Staff will conduct themselves in a professional manner with visitors, residents, and other professionals.

Staff will interact in a reflective manner as opposed to a reactive manner.

Staff will ensure that anyone requesting information is connected to the proper parties, provided they are unable to assist them.

Staff actions will promote a trauma informed care model of service provision.

Staff will provide educational and employment guidance and support.

Staff will provide independent living skills learning opportunities to residents in all programs.

Staff will transport residents to work, school, and other appointments as necessary.

Staff will follow proper procedure during critical incidents including the notification of case managers, licensing unit, and on call, as well as, maintain resident/staff ratios at all times.

Staff will follow agency policies and procedures.

Staff will perform additional duties as requested by the TLS Supervisor or Program Coordinator.
