Performs rapid repair rework CCA on electronic/electrical assemblies and subassemblies as an individual.
Performs simple and complex rework and modification to circuit card parts and assemblies per IPC and J standard requirements.
Use and operate shop tools and equipment including measuring instruments and equipment.
Documents result in accordance with applicable procedures
Collects and inputs data for statistical process control analysis. Works under general supervision.
Performs rapid repair rework on CCA records using detailed work instructions & other released planning documentation and a variety of other supporting technical documentation as required including but not limited to: CCA technical drawings, 2D & 3D models, schematics, circuit/wiring diagrams, process and equipment specifications, photographs, illustrations and sketches.
Perform rapid repair rework to CCA assembly to complete assignments. Related tasks may include fabrication, installation, adjustment, fit check, fastener alignment, connections, and subassembly.
Documents CCA non-conformances down to component level.
Performs, as required, approved CCA rework, modification, repairs and incorporation of changes per CCA technical documentation and formal direction to electrical, electronic and mechanical systems.
Assists in defining, implementing, completing and monitoring the execution of the work scope.
Makes recommendations for rework repairs or building of CCA equipment and integration processes by conducting studies and evaluations that result in product and process improvements.
Set up and maintain CCA Rework charts, logs, records and reports.
Duties may include the handling of hazardous waste (if qualified).
Maintain licenses, permits and certifications required to perform CCA rework work.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Minimum of High School Diploma or GED.
Must be able to work any shift
5-7 Years Experience doing rework operations with standard tools using Hand and/or air (pneumatic) tools
3 Years’ Experience with Department of Defense (DoD) & NASA Assembly Soldering Specifications.
5 Years Experience with J-Std-001.
5 Years Experience performing soldering and electronics repair to the component level
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
Following blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to ensure correct placement and connections
Basic Computer Skills,
Navigate the desktop, taskbar, windows, and settings
Use a mouse, keyboard, and essential shortcuts with ease
Create, rename, delete, and organize files and folders
Connect to printers
Adjust system preferences like volume and display,
Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
Good communication skills for reporting issues and following instructions
· Assembling components onto circuit boards, including transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, relays, resistors, and other electronic parts
· Soldering and desoldering components using hand tools or automated equipment
· Inspecting assembled boards for quality assurance, automated optical inspection (AOI),
· Repairing faulty components or circuits
· Maintaining tools and equipment in good working order
· Documenting assembly processes and any issues encountered
· Working safely in a clean, organized environment, following strict safety guidelines
Pay: $38.00 - $45.00 per hour
