Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Warehouse Associate. This role involves basic shipping and receiving processes along with assisting delivery driver with in-house deliveries as needed.
This is a full-time position eligible for benefits within the first 60 days. The schedule will be either Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday, with a starting wage of $19 to $23 per hour, depending on experience.
Duties
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately using company equipment and unload shipments efficiently by hand or with pallet jacks, while adhering to safety protocols
- Capable of reading directions from vendors on proper assembly of product
- Assist with shipping & receiving processes, ensuring timely dispatch and receipt of goods in accordance with company standards
- Support packaging activities to prepare products for shipment, ensuring quality and safety standards are met
- Facility maintenance, cleaning break rooms and bathrooms
Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse distribution environments preferred
- Ability to obtain a forklift certification
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy items, standing for extended periods, and operating equipment safely
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in order picking & packing processes
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Mechanically inclined
- Posses a clean driving record
