Duties
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods along designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Manage route driving efficiently to meet delivery schedules while maintaining accuracy in deliveries
- Assist customers with their orders, answer questions about products, and promote upselling opportunities to enhance sales
- Perform heavy lifting when loading and unloading merchandise, ensuring proper merchandising and placement at delivery sites
- Maintain clear communication with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, route changes, or any issues encountered
- Organize daily delivery schedules and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and promptly
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met and report any maintenance needs
Experience
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience preferred
- Strong math skills for pricing calculations, measurements, and inventory management
- Proven customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with clients
- Experience in sales or upselling techniques is a plus, demonstrating initiative in promoting products or services
- Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged periods of driving or standing
- Organizational skills for managing routes, deliveries, and documentation efficiently
- Military background is advantageous for discipline, route planning, and safety awareness

Pay: $9.00 - $15.00 per hour
