We’re looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined person who enjoys fixing equipment and keeping things
running.
This is a year-round position with a mix of shop work and field support.
What You’ll Do
During the paving season (approximately 50% shop / 50% field):
· Perform oil changes, lubrication, and preventive maintenance
· Diagnose and repair small engines and equipment
· Replace belts, hoses, recoil starters, lights, wiring, pumps, valves, and other components
· Deliver equipment and materials to crews
· Fill in with field crews when needed
· Keep equipment operating safely and efficiently
During the winter (approximately 90% shop):
· Rebuild and restore company equipment
· Repair sealcoating tanks and systems
· Paint, service, and prepare equipment for spring
· Learn to rebuild sealcoating pumps (paid training)
· Help develop our new pump rebuilding service

Additional Requirements:
· Class B CDL preferred (or willingness to obtain)
· Mechanical aptitude and common sense
· Experience with small engines, hydraulics, trailers, or diesel equipment is a plus
· Able to troubleshoot and solve problems
· Dependable and punctual
· Positive attitude and willing to learn
