Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Cosmetic Nurse Practitioner who specializes in injector treatments, wellness procedures, and laser therapies to join our growing plastic surgery and medical aestheics practice. As a key member of our team, you will utilize your expertise to enhance clients’ natural beauty and confidence through innovative cosmetic procedures. This provider should be passionate about delivering natural, beautiful results while providing an exceptional, concierge-level patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of cosmetic injections, including dermal fillers and botulinum toxin treatments, ensuring precise placement and natural-looking results
- Administer laser treatments for skin rejuvenation, hair removal, pigmentation correction, and other esthetic laser procedures with safety and efficacy in mind
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine suitability for cosmetic procedures and wellness treatments
- Educate clients on treatment options, expected outcomes, post-procedure care, and maintenance strategies to optimize satisfaction
- Maintain meticulous medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinic standards using EMR systems such as Epic or eClinicalWorks
- Collaborate with the medical team to develop personalized treatment plans that align with patients’ aesthetic goals and health needs
- Stay current with the latest advancements in aesthetic medicine, laser technology, and wellness therapies through ongoing education and clinical research
- Must be able to work in 2 locations. Stuart and West Palm Beach.
Experience
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license with certification in aesthetics or cosmetic injection therapies preferred
- Proven experience performing dermal fillers, botulinum toxin treatments, and esthetic laser procedures in a clinical setting
- Strong background in medical office practice, including patient assessment, medical documentation, CPT coding, ICD coding, and HIPAA compliance
- Prior work experience utilizing EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Athenahealth for accurate record keeping
- Demonstrated proficiency in patient care across diverse populations including adult wellness patients and those seeking aesthetic enhancements
- Critical care experience or hospital background is advantageous but not mandatory; however, familiarity with sterile techniques like aseptic technique is essential
- Knowledge of anatomy relevant to facial injections and laser therapy applications is required
- Excellent communication skills for educating clients about treatment options while maintaining a lively, motivational approach
