Local packing company is seeking to hire an Inventory Associate. Must have a strong attention to detail and forklift experience.
Shifts available:
1st shift Mon-Thu 5am-3:30pm
2nd shift: Mon-Fri 3:30pm-12am
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling the day-to-day warehouse operations efficiently and effectively.
Duties
- Perform various warehouse activities including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of products
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and order pickers to move materials
- Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat
- Follow all company guidelines regarding warehouse operations and safety regulations
- Building and assembling crates
- Loading large electric car batteries into crates
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is required
- Proficiency in order picking, inventory, forklift operation, materials handling, and stock management
- Knowledge of OSHA guidelines related to warehouse operations
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Must know how to read a tape measure
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
