The Tampa Bay Rays are looking for an experienced Painter to efficiently undertake a variety of painting projects ranging from small touch ups to painting large offices at Tropicana Field.
Responsibilities:
Work as self-directed

Maintain standard in all areas of inside Tropicana Field building

Set up schedules for painting offices, work and common areas

Develop relationship with local Sherman Williams store

Understand and oversee cost and usage of paint and supplies
Qualifications
-
7-10 years of painting experience preferred

Solid understanding of different types of paints-latex, oil & water base, acrylic, primers, and paints for both inside and outside.

Knowledge of painting finishes and tools-naps, rollers, brushes, etc.

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Friendly with a great deal of patience

Good physical condition and strength with the ability to work in awkward spaces

High standard of integrity and professionalism

Must be prepared to work flexible hours/weekends/overtime

Able to work in a collaborative/teamwork environment

Knowledge and ability to use ladders & aerial lifts / not afraid of heights

Valid Driver’s License
