Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience.
- Manage cash handling and POS transactions using systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS to ensure accurate billing.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
- Restock bar supplies efficiently during shifts to meet customer demand without delay.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and prevent over-service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering events or banquet functions to coordinate food and beverage service seamlessly.
Skills
- Proficiency in POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing and cash handling.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders quickly while maintaining quality service.
- Strong customer service abilities with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Experience in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet environments is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and responsible serving policies.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, retail math for sales transactions, and restaurant experience for understanding service flow.
- Familiarity with the food industry, brewing processes, catering operations, and hospitality standards enhances your ability to excel in this role.
