Intent: We are expanding in the greater St. Louis area. We are looking to hire a Concrete Technician with the background and abilities to move into the role of Delivery Manager. A Delivery Manager still cuts concrete, but is responsible for a 1-4 person crew and the administrative non-cutting tasks associated with our work.

Our mission at Precision Concrete Cutting (PCC) is to provide the best trip hazard removal service possible to our customers. We do this through our patented technology which removes trip hazards from sidewalks rendering them not only ADA compliant but also virtually hazard free. Additional services include and walkway surveys and repairs. PCC delivers the highest quality in the industry across all facets of our business.
Duties and Responsibilities
Work outside in public with power tools utilized to cut concrete. Daily responsibilities include training and managing a team of trip hazard removal specialists (technicians), driving, field equipment maintenance, safety, data collection, job record keeping, and certain office responsibilities. Assure the company is well represented and equipment is in good safe working order.
Job Requirements (applicants MUST meet all of the following)
- Assure safety is priority #1 for all staff members
- Responsible and reliable (self-motivated and punctual)
- Managing a team of 1-4 persons in a production environment
- Willing to travel (up to) 50% of the time (typically Monday thru Friday but may include weekends)
- Capable of performing a very physically demanding job in temperatures ranging from 10 to 95 degrees
- Capable of lifting 75 lbs.
- Mechanically inclined with good with hand / eye coordination in working with tools
- Detail oriented with good analytical problem solving skills
- Basic math skills are a must.
- OSHA-30 Construction certification required (must be attained within 30 days of position start date)
- Valid and current state issued drivers' license and clean driving record (ongoing).
- Communication skills (must be able to speak and write in fluent English)
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Positive reference from current or at least two prior employers
- Smoke free, including e-cigarettes and able to pass drug tests (DOT, pre-employment and random)
- Fit tested (able to meet baseline for particulate respirator use and fit)

- Maintenance (field maintenance of equipment and rotations through maintenance at shop)
- Expense Management (optimizing travel costs including shared meals and accommodations)

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
