Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs
- Schedule service appointments efficiently, balancing customer priorities with shop capacity
- Clearly explain repair procedures, estimates, and recommended services using automotive diagnostics and mechanical knowledge
- Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, alignments, suspension work, and transmission services to maximize customer value
- Write detailed service orders and estimates using auto estimating software while ensuring accuracy and transparency
- Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs like diesel engine repair, shocks & struts, air brake systems, or auto body repairs
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and promote ongoing vehicle maintenance or automobile sales opportunitiesQualifications
- Proven dealership or automotive service management experience with a strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and repair processes
- Familiarity with auto estimating tools, service writing, and customer relationship management systems
- Knowledge of mechanical systems including transmissions, oil changes, brake repair, tire service, suspension, shocks & struts, alignment, diesel engines, and auto body repair
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally
- Experience in upselling services such as vehicle maintenance packages or automotive repairs to enhance revenue opportunities
- Mechanical knowledge combined with mechanic experience or service technician background preferred
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and maintain detailed records of all transactions

Pay: $60,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
